He competes with pickup trucks to haul freight around town with his horse and cart. In the evening he brings his horse to our place. I was waiting for him the other morning around sunrise, and snapped a few photos as he headed off to work.
I know my dad remembers working the fields with horses when he was a boy. There are probably a few others who are reading this email who remember the one horsepower days as well. Or possibly four horsepower? Or six?
