  1. I cried for most of this. Why haven’t we brought Jesus’ joy to the world? How have we become the church of the pious and the “too-dignified to even talk to her, or even look at her”? God save us from ourselves and show us how to bring your life abundantly to others! We have so much in our little worlds of paradise-enough to share abundantly! Thank you so much. Tammy Shaen

  2. I think this story is included in his book, The Kingdom of God is a Party. Awesome story and even better hearing him tell it, than reading it.

  3. I believe to BE the Church rather than attend it is one of our most difficult dilemmas today. We tend to like our neat and tidy lives and resist mixing it up with the “pagans” for fear of becoming like them. We have our Christian education and Bible schools which try to teach us how to “save” the lost but it all misses the point. Tony’s story really captures (or rather,is captured by)the Heart of the Father. May we all be “caught off our guard” every day as we listen to the Holy Spirit’s promptings and follow them! If this philosophy (heart cry)is indeed what you are all about then may God richly Bless your lives in so many more ways that you could ever imagine! Way to Be Jesus to people!
